This sugar showpiece is a 3D life-sized gumpaste shoe.
With approximately 1,000 individually cut and applied sugar sequins
and a ruffled sugar toe-piece, this shoe is completely edible.

This cake is over 2 feet tall. Everything edible except for the poles for the horses.

Most recently, I was contacted by Food Network to submit an audition video for their 2011 Challenge season.  Although submission of the video doesn’t guarantee that I will be chosen for one of their immediate shows, I am honored to even be asked to audition.  The fact that I was invited to audition, gives me much satisfaction especially since I’ve only had my own cake business for a few months.
